Hello,

You viewer works great with Total Commander and its Ctrl+Q option. But I've found that is more than only simple viewer, but has more... And that batch processing disappointed me.

I am normally using ImageMagick to process my images in batch. It has disadvantages, but its major advantage is that I can choose I want horizontal width as 800 pixels and vertical is scaled automatically. This does not work for Imagine in case of batch, as check-box for keeping ration is greyed and I cannot choose which size (width or height) I would like to define.

Additional missing feature is that I cannot define I can define new name for image file after process according to some pattern. For example name resized image P1234567s.JPG from original P1234567.JPG. I would be nice to have.

Next nice feature would be having ability to choose we would resize longer dimension or shorter dimension (to have portrait and landscape pictures always no longer than for example 800 pixels).

Keep your good work and I hope my suggestions will help you making your tool better!

Manveru

No, you can.
If you like to set width to 800 and don't touch(keep it 0), the height of image will be automatically calculated with keeping ratio.
Give it a try.

I'll consider to add feature that supports prefix(or postfix) for batch-converted files.

Unfortunately, I could not understand what this means.

Thank you.

I think he means that if you set 800px and choose longer dimension than:
- portrait images will have height reduced to 800px,
- landscape will have width reduced.

Personally I would like to suggest another feature which would be called "smart resizing":

1. I choose Smart Resizing and set 1280x1024 resolution,
2. resizing starts and Imagine tries to estimate how to resize images:
- first try by the width - if final height is less or equal to 1024, resize (with same aspect ratio),
- if not - resize by height.

Such feature would be nice for making screen size specific images collections.

Now I understand what it means.
I'll consider it.
Additional option can be needed.

I'll check it.
Currently the resizing process in batch conversion is somewhat inconvenient.

Thanks for the information.
